Kiwijam is nearly here, launching this Friday night – and it’s your chance to make something wild, wonderful, or downright weird.
Whether you're a seasoned dev or have never touched a game engine before, Kiwijam is a 48-hour creative sprint where artists, coders, storytellers, tinkerers, and curious minds come together to build games from scratch. From digital adventures to physical board games, card games, and even DIY haptic gear, all is fair in love, war and games. With full access to the Makerspace, you’ve got the rare privilege of bringing anything to life.
👉 Haven’t signed up yet? It’s free and open to everyone, but spots are limited. Make sure to register here:
P.S.
Due to a scheduling conflict, we’ll be hosting our opening night at the UoA Science Foyer (302-G80, 20 Symonds St.). We’ll be back at Unleash Space for the rest of the weekend, starting Saturday morning. Don't worry you will find a handy map below.
We’ll be kicking off around 6:30pm Friday, with the theme reveal and team formation happening on the night, so come through on time and ready to jam.
