Week 10: Maker Club Gathering

Cardboard Forts

Tomorrow, we're gathering once again at the Unleash Space. This time with another event! This week, you'll be splitting into teams and building defences, shields, and anything else you can think of - out of cardboard.

Once our structures are looking good, pull out your nerf guns (if you have them) and we'll have a paintball-style battle to find out which team reigns supreme! If you don't have a nerf gun and want to take part in this portion of the event, we'll have a handful of guns to share. Please bring your own if you have them!

If you'd like to just work on your own projects, or if you're keen to join the Fibre Arts group - you're always welcome to come along (more on that further down). From next week we'll be back to our regular madness.

Also in the Unleash Space this Friday is our friends with the Fibre Arts Club! They're new to campus, so if you're keen on crocheting, knitting, sewing, weaving, etc then bring some needles, hooks, or use what's available in the Create Space and join in on the fun.

Jewellery Workshop

The famously rumoured jewellery making workshop is ready for sign-ups! The event is going to be an off campus one so it'd be great if you could get yourself there - we can always set up carpooling if need be. The workshop is going to run from 10-1 on the 13th of May. There are only 12 spots so get in quick. If we have enough interest we might be able to run another one in the future. You can also feel free to book independently however we get a small discount with the group booking. The price is $50 per person. Sustainable Futures Collective
