Tie-Dye
Please bring a plain white or lightly coloured T-Shirt! We'll be continuing our expeditions into tie-dying. For those of you that got to make something last night, it'll be cleaned up and ready for you to collect :)
Remember: Bring a T-Shirt if you want to do this! The Warehouse sells cheap plain t-shirts! Don't forget! Set a calendar reminder!
Training
Next week we'll be running a bunch of special members-only training sessions for the Unleash Space's Create/Maker Space. If you want to use the cool equipment available inside the create space, do these before Friday:
Maker Space Orientation
To use the Maker Space, you must complete the new member online orientation featured on Canvas. It's pretty easy to do, so take a little bit of time out of your day and get registered.
Complete Equipment Training
As well as the in-person training, you'll need to complete a short tutorial online on how to use the equipment. At the end of each, there's a short quiz that you'll need to get 10/10 on. You can repeat it as many times as you need. These don't take long - our advice would be to do them all so that you have them out of the way.
Projects
We have had a few cool suggestions for projects! As well as Tie-Dying, we'll have free project time for you to get started on whatever you'd like. If you're not sure what you'd like to do, we have a number of things people are working on that are always open to a new member. No specific skills are required 😊

Not this Friday, but next Friday. This event is a collaboration between a bunch of the science clubs and our very own Maker Club! We've launched early access to the registration page using this button below, but keep an eye out for a separate announcement about it soon
