📒 Last Friday & This Monday: Zine-Making

📒 Last Friday & This Monday: Zine-Making
A zine (/ziːn/ ZEEN; short for magazine or fanzine) is a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images

Come along this Friday and Monday to build some Zines; no experience is required 📒! We'll start by giving you a lightning overview of what Zines can be, how they're made, and what to do. Then, working in groups, we'll each make a short zine. Zines can be (almost) anything:

  • 💥 A short comic
  • 🎭 An essay, poem, or short text
  • 🎬 A review of The Room from someone who's never read it
  • 📰 A collage of newspaper clippings about the cost of living
  • 🆒 And more!

Basically - we're hoping that every page will be different, so you'll be welcome and encouraged to use anything from ink ✍️ to computers 💻 to scissors and glue ✂️
