Got a ridiculous idea you’ve never dared to build? Perfect. That’s exactly what we’re looking for.
Welcome to the Terrible Ideas Hackathon — a weekend dedicated to bad concepts, questionable decisions, and surprisingly great learning. This is your chance to take the worst idea in your notes app, your group chat, or the back of your brain… and turn it into something real.
Make a game no one asked for. Build an app that solves a problem nobody has. Write software for a toaster. Create a musical about spreadsheets. If it sounds terrible, unnecessary, or mildly unhinged — you’re doing it right.
Over two days, you’ll experiment, prototype, fail, fix, and laugh your way through the process. Along the way, you’ll pick up new skills, learn from teammates, and discover that “bad ideas” are often the best way to learn fast and have fun doing it.
No pressure. No perfection. No expectations.
Just creativity, chaos, and learning through trial, error, and terrible decisions.
